<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>Overview:</strong><br />We are seeking a qualified and experienced <strong>Industrial Millwright with a Red Seal certification</strong> for our client in Orangeville. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and reliable operation. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation and benefits.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment, including conveyor systems, pumps, compressors, and production machinery.</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the ongoing reliability and performance of machinery and equipment.</li><li>Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical problems to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.</li><li>Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to determine equipment specifications and repair procedures.</li><li>Fabricate and machine replacement parts using manual and CNC machining equipment as needed.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory levels.</li><li>Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to equipment.</li><li>Collaborate with other maintenance personnel, production operators, and supervisors to prioritize tasks and minimize downtime.</li><li>Provide training and guidance to junior millwrights and apprentices as needed.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Red Seal certification as an Industrial Millwright.</li><li>Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as an industrial millwright in a manufacturing or industrial environment.</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.</li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.</li><li>Experience with welding, machining, and fabrication techniques.</li><li>Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently or as part of a team.</li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.</li></ul><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Pay: $30.40-$44.00 per hour</p><p>Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week</p><p>Flexible Language Requirement:</p><ul><li>French not required</li></ul><p>Schedule:</p><ul><li>Permanent Continental 12 hr day/night shifts (7am/7pm)</li></ul><p>Ability to commute/relocate:</p><ul><li>Orangeville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>millwright: 3 years </li></ul><p><span class="long-word">Licence/Certification:</span></p><ul><li>Millwright Red Seal </li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p></div></div>
