Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a hospital setting, focusing on acute care and pediatrics. The role involves case management and requires proficiency in medical terminology.

Role Focus: The candidate will work with a diverse client base, providing assessments and therapy for speech-related challenges. The role involves both in-person and virtual therapy sessions, allowing flexibility and expanded reach to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients? speech, voice, and language difficulties.
Develop and implement customized treatment plans tailored to each client?s needs.
Engage in fluency, articulation, and other speech-related exercises.
Monitor and adjust therapy plans using advanced tracking tools.
Collaborate with families to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily activities, ensuring continuity of care.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with speech therapy practices.
Qualifications:
Master?s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), or eligible for registration.
Experience in pediatric and adult speech therapy preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to providing high-quality, personalized care.
Supervise Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) or Communication Disorders Assistants (CDAs), providing guidance and professional development.
Job Types: Part-time
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in hospital or acute care settings is advantageous.
- Proficiency in case management and medical terminology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
