*Overview:*
Dan-D-Pak is a well-respected company with established household brands for dried fruits and nuts with over 34 years of experience in the industry.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a *Senior Accountan*t, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. This is a key role within our finance department, and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and has strong problem-solving skills.
*Responsibilities:*
* Maintain monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
* Bank Reconciliations and year end working papers
* Daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting
* Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Collaborate with the management team to gather, analyze, and prepare recommendations regarding financial requirements, operational forecasts
* Play a key role in inventory management and creating efficiencies to increase net revenues
* Lead process improvement initiatives within our warehousing and logistics areas
* Prepare and record adjustments as required including cost accruals, deferrals, etc.
* Reconcile, report and remit to statutory compliance and government reporting
* Ensure all financial transactions are appropriately accounted for and meet GAAP
* Assist in annual budgeting process and monitor performance to budget to ensure fiscal responsibility
* Assist with cash management processes, including cash flow projections and online banking
* Plan and coordinate fiscal year end work with external auditors
* Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
* Manage and be responsible for the overall financial reporting of the operation, and all other financial related activities
* Participate in ad-hoc assignments or special projects
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification preferred)
* Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role with a minimum 7 years of experience.
* Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Power Point and Outlook
* Proficiency in using accounting software (such as ERP systems)
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Experience with financial auditing is a plus

Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
