Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses. Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Perform livestock feeding. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving. Harvest crops. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Milk cows. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Maintain work records and logs. Perform general farm duties. Equipment and machinery experience: Milking system (automated). Tractor. Haying equipment. Loader. Tillage equipment. Skidsteer. Hand tools. Area of specialization: Dairy cattle.
