*Main Duties: Chef de Partie*
As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running a specific section in the kitchen and report to the Sous Chef. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including:
· Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within the specialty section
· Assisting the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes, and developing dishes
· Demonstrating proficiency in butchery skills for meat, fish, poultry, and various other products
· Assisting with the management of health and safety
· Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
· Managing and training Cooks
· Monitoring portion and waste control
· Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
· Assisting in inventory with high product knowledge
*Requirements: Chef de Partie*
· Minimum 2 years of experience as a cook
· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the same position of Chef de Partie
· Awareness of manual handling techniques
· Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safety
· Experience in handling kitchen equipment
· Experience in handling dangerous or heavy equipment such as skillets, grinders, kettles, etc.
· Language: English
· Knowledge and ability to run a food section
· Ability to work without close supervision
· Ability to manage junior Chefs or cooks (3 ? 4 people)
· Ability to produce good-quality food in all sections
. Cuisine specialties - Canadian, Italian, Vegetarian
· Good oral communication
· Team management skills
· High level of attention to detail
· Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around you

Note: Must be able to work flexible hours and days, including statutory holidays and weekends.

Pay: $24.48 per hour
Expected hours: 30 ? 44 per week
