As a candidate, we encourage you to have an open dialogue with a member of our HR Team and ask compensation related questions, including pay details for this role.Job Description:Key Responsibilities:Owning the strategy and execution of HNW centralized planning support, including managing the team's capacity and continuously exploring ways to create efficiencies to increase client contact for WAS PlannersLeading the development, implementation and ongoing management of a HNW planning technology toolOwning the development and execution of onboarding and training for all new WAS Planners and WAS Associates with respect to the planning tool proficiencyKey liaison with Planning professionals in field and responding to enquiries and technical planning questionsContributing to the WAS content library of client friendly and advisor support material (including webinars, presentations and articles)Taking a lead role in the Wealth Planning National Office team's initiatives and projectsDeveloping and advancing Wealth Advice Planning Standards and Related PoliciesEstablish plan review cadence and policies aligned to Plan StandardsActing as key SME on segment strategy initiatives, to ensure that content and support align with key Wealth Advice segmentsResearch and determine impacts from Regulatory changes to our planning tools, materials and policies / proceduresContribute to the development of professional development programs for Wealth Advice professionals to continually advance our collective expertise across Wealth AdviceTeaming with the other functional lines of Advice, including: Practice Management, Wealth Insurance Services, Family Office and Governance & Control partners on various projects as part of the overall PPG mandateJob Requirements:A minimum 8+ years of wealth planning experience for the Mass Affluent, HNW and UHNW client segments, gained through client contact or in a technical advisory supportive role to advisors, coupled with investment industry knowledgeCertified financial planning designation (CFP, F. Pl.)Professional legal and/or accounting designation (CPA, LLB) an assetSpecialized industry accreditations (TEP, CLU) an assetExpert working knowledge of financial planning software and toolsExperience implementing strategic technology migration for a 1,000+ user baseUnderstanding/knowledge of Canadian wealth planning concepts and toolsUnderstanding/knowledge of Canadian and cross-border taxation for HNW individualsStrong passion and focus on building a first-class wealth planning support organizationSelf-starter who is results oriented and who works effectively and collaboratively in a team environmentStrong communication, presentation, time management and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPointBilingual (English/French) an assetWho We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
