Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Dusty. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Professionalism in customer service. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Oversee loading and unloading of goods. Drive trucks to transport materials and well service equipment. Provide customer service. Keep logs and maintain records. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AZ class license. Documentation knowledge: Bill of lading. Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Maintenance and repair reports. Trip reports. Type of cranes: Hydraulic or telescoping boom.
