<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate <strong>Speech-Language Pathologist</strong> in Newmarket, ON.In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. You will work with patients of all ages, providing therapy and strategies to improve communication skills and overall quality of life.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients.</li><li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.</li><li>Provide direct therapy services, including speech exercises, language activities, and swallowing techniques.</li><li>Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.</li><li>Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques to support ongoing development and improvement.</li><li>Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, occupational therapists, and educators, to provide comprehensive care.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with Ontario health regulations and standards.</li><li>Stay current with research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology to ensure high-quality care.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.</li><li>Current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).</li><li>Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is an asset.</li><li>Experience working with diverse populations and a wide range of speech and language disorders.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.</li><li>Familiarity with relevant therapy techniques, tools, and technology.</li></ul><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Pay: $65,000.00-$120,000 per year</p></div></div>
