We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced "DevSecOps & Infrastructure Engineer II" to join our fast-paced startup environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in server management, network security, and DevOps practices, with expertise in Linux distributions (including Kali Linux), firewall configuration, and multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Digital Ocean, Hetzner, PowerVPS, and Private Servers). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our infrastructure, providing internal helpdesk support, assisting support teams with escalated issues, building CI/CD pipelines, automating processes, and improving internal processes, policies, and procedures. The candidate should have a strong desire to learn new tools and technologies, be able to work independently or as part of a team, and possess excellent leadership and supervisory skills. \*\*Roles and Responsibilities:\*\* \* Manage and maintain servers across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Digital Ocean, Hetzner, PowerVPS) and private servers \* Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls (SonicWall, PfSense), routers, and switches \* Administer Linux-based servers, including Ubuntu, Debian, Rocky Linux, Fedora, and Kali Linux distributions \* Manage and maintain email clients and servers, including IRedMail Admin Pro and Email Gateway \* Assemble and build servers, including replacing SATA hard drives and other components \* Implement and manage Docker, Docker Swarm, and Kubernetes containers \* Set up and manage open-source solutions, including Terraform, Zabbix, Prometheus, Kafka, Elastic Search, and Wasuh \* Monitor and troubleshoot server performance, network, and service alerts using tools like Nginx, Apache, and HAProxy \* Use AI-powered tools, agents, and bots for documentation, knowledge management, and increasing productivity \* Manage and maintain NAS, Proxmox, and virtualization infrastructure in a clustered environment \* Provide internal helpdesk support and assist support teams with escalated and high-priority issues, both remotely and in-person \* Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for production deployments using tools like Git, Jenkins, CircleCI, and GitHub Actions \* Deploy and maintain open-source solutions for enterprise internal use \* Manage domain and DNS settings and ensure high availability of internal systems and tools \* Perform server patching and maintain print server, email server, and VPN server \* Write automation scripts using Python, Bash, and Perl \* Generate proper documentation and detailed steps for record-keeping and improve internal processes, policies, and procedures \* Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions \* Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and application services \* Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in DevSecOps and infrastructure management \* Provide leadership and supervisory responsibilities as needed \* Perform other duties as assigned \*\*Requirements:\*\* \* 4+ years of experience in DevOps and infrastructure management \* Strong background in Linux, including Ubuntu, Debian, Rocky Linux, Fedora, and Kali Linux distributions \* Experience with multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Digital Ocean, Hetzner, PowerVPS) and private servers \* Experience with SonicWall and PfSense firewalls \* Knowledge of NAS, Proxmox, and virtualization infrastructure in a clustered environment \* Experience with Docker, Docker Swarm, and Kubernetes \* Familiarity with Terraform and infrastructure as code \* Experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Prometheus, Kafka, Elastic Search, and Wasuh \* Knowledge of Nginx, Apache, and HAProxy \* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, both remotely and in-person \* Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills \* Ability to work independent- LocationCarleton Place, ON
