*Hourly Wage: *$72,000.00 to $73,500.00 dependant on experience.
*Position Overview:* We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Women's Shelter Supervisor to join our dedicated team. As a Women's Shelter Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and empowerment of women accessing our shelter services. You will oversee daily operations, provide feminist, values-based leadership to shelter staff, and uphold the mission of our organization through a client and trauma-informed approach.
As the Women's Shelter Supervisor, you are dedicated to empowering low-barrier unhoused women with safety, dignity, and support. Your leadership will drive our mission to provide accessible, inclusive care, empowering clients to live their lives with dignity. *Responsibilities:*
· Manage day-to-day operations of the women's shelter, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.
· Supervise shelter staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
· Coordinate intake and assessment processes for new residents, ensuring confidentiality and sensitivity.
· Develop and integrate, in collaboration with the Community Health Leader, programs and services that promote empowerment, healing, and self-sufficiency among shelter residents.
· Maintain accurate records and statistical data related to shelter operations and client services.
· Provide crisis intervention and support to shelter residents as needed.
· Foster a culture of inclusivity, respect, and dignity within the shelter environment.
*Qualifications:*
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
· Strong understanding of issues related to being unhoused, working with individuals in active usage, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions.
