Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Restaurant. Tasks: Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization. Requisition food and kitchen supplies. Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Inspect kitchens and food service areas. Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food. Order supplies and equipment. Supervise kitchen staff and helpers. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Clean kitchen and work areas. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) . Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations .
