Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Electrical Mechanic Trade Certification. Area of specialization: Transformers. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Standing for extended periods. Ability to distinguish between colours. Manual dexterity. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Accurate. Excellent oral communication. Team player.
