Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Manufacturing and industrial plant. Tasks: Identify and document potential environmental and safety problems . Investigate reported potential environmental and safety problems. Recommend measures to improve productivity . Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Provide information for maintenance plans to ensure that maintenance and production objectives are met. Oversee safety of operations. Propose improvements to methods, systems and procedures. Supervision: Water and waste plant operators. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail.
