Education: Master's degree. Work setting: Sports therapy. Orthopedics. Acute care therapy. Medical clinic. Chronic care therapy center. Tasks: Assess patients' physical abilities. Supervise technical and support staff. Plan physiotherapy programs. Select appropriate exercises, apparatus and manipulations. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Confer with other health professionals. Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients. Administer evaluative tests and procedures. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Personal suitability: Punctuality. Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Judgement. Screening questions: Are you available for the advertised start date?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?. Do you have the above-indicated required certifications?. Experience: Experience an asset.
