Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Transportation. Tasks: Compile orders and instructions received from customers. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Track and complete work orders. Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments. Prepare and submit reports. Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery. Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll and other summaries. Maintain work records and logs. Perform general office duties. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Monitor production progress. Project management. Provide customer service. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations. Supervision: 5-10 people. Computer and technology knowledge: Monitoring and tracking software. Electronic scheduler. Database software. Electronic mail. Database. MS Project. Quick Books. Internet. MS Access. MS Excel.
