Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Tasks: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Diesel engine repair specialization: Fuel injection system. Exhaust system. Lubrication system. Engine control system. Major internal engine repairs or overhaul. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Drug test. Basic security clearance. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.- LocationSurrey, BC
