*Job Duties:*
* Welcome clients by greeting them in person or on the telephone, and by answering or referring their inquiries
* Direct clients by maintaining employee and department directories, and provide instructions
* Create and manage both digital and hardcopy filing systems for all partners
* Maintain security by following procedures
* Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
* Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
* Update calendars and schedule meetings
* Assist colleagues with administrative tasks and handle overflow work by performing various clerical duties as needed
* Copy, file and maintain paperwork or electronic documents and records
* Maintain a clean and organized reception area
*Requirements and Skills:*
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus
* Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
* A positive customer service attitude; friendly and approachable personality
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 ? 40 per week
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Surrey, BC V3W 3N4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
* Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
* administrative assistant: 1 year (preferred)
* receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
