We are currently seeking a Field Tech Specialist Advisor - Remote to join our team in London, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA). The Field Tech Specialist Advisor is a key role tasked with orchestrating activities between Field Services, Desktop Engineering, and other delivery towers while also providing direct user support and internal service enhancements. This role requires a balance of technical acumen and project management to drive service delivery improvements and encourage team collaboration for optimal outcomes. By fostering collaboration and communication between teams, the Field Tech Specialist Advisor ensures that our technical services are seamless, efficient, and continually evolving to meet the changing needs of our users and the business. This will be a remote based position, but only candidates located in Canada will be considered. Role Responsibilities Provide expert remote support to end users by resolving Level 2 tickets requiring in-depth knowledge and advanced troubleshooting skills Act as subject matter expert to diagnose complex issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions to enhance user satisfaction and productivity Utilize advanced data analytics to proactively identify and address user and enterprise-level issues, coordinating with relevant teams for swift resolution. Regularly assess the enterprise user experience, collaborating with delivery towers and clients to initiate and manage enterprise-wide service improvements. Spearhead desktop engineering initiatives by crafting robust desktop images and managing application packages and catalogs to streamline enterprise-wide deployments. Administer Windows system administration tasks, including the management of Active Directory and Azure services, to maintain system integrity and adherence to organizational IT standards.. Collaborate with internal delivery towers to identify and implement service improvements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational excellence. Engage with customers to understand their needs and feedback, translating insights into actionable service enhancements that drive satisfaction and value. Initiate and lead self-directed projects aimed at enhancing delivery and operations, with a keen focus on driving efficiency through strategic automation solutions enabling shift-left opportunities Basic Qualifications 3+ years in a specialist-level role supporting enterprise clients, with a focus on service improvement and advanced troubleshooting. 7+ years of IT generalist experience, encompassing a broad range of technical skills and a history of successful project delivery in complex environments Additional Skills Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience Travel industry experience preferred IT analytics and data analysis Desktop image and application support management - Microsoft SCCM, Intune Automation and scripting - PowerShell, Python, VBA Server, desktop, and application virtualization - Microsoft, Citrix, AWS, VMWare Endpoint security Mobile Device Management support - JAMF, Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager Generalist IT skills in supporting Microsoft-based enterprises including Active Directory, Azure, DNS, DHCP, etc. ITIL Certification Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to engage with key customer stakeholders to present, refine, and secure approval for operational and project initiatives Ability to create and document processes Project Management Experience About NTT DATA Services NTT DATA Services is a recognized leader in IT and business services, including cloud, data and applications, headquartered in Texas.
