We are currently seeking a *Patient Care Coordinator* to join our team at our *Orleans, ON *location.
\* Please note the successful candidate must be able to work 10am-6pm or 11am-7pm daily.
This dynamic role will allow you actively contribute to the improvement of peoples? health and wellness, while earning a competitive salary and participating in our benefits package.
*Responsibilities:*
* Call patients to assess their needs, ensuring their equipment is working properly and replaced within the approved manufacturer?s guidelines
* Answer patient calls, emails, and questions, including insurance submissions
* Discuss cost of service, insurance coverage, and payment options with the patient
* Liaise with insurance companies on behalf of and/or in conjunction with patients to determine insurance entitlements
* Confidentially manage patient accounts
* Keep current on various products and services from our vendors
* Perform data entry tasks and maintaining patient database to ensure timely follow up
* Confidentially manage patient accounts
* Schedule patient visits and answer pre-visit questions, including about billing
* Scan/file documents into patient charts
* Schedule patient appointments and procedures according to established protocol
* Greets patients and screens them for appropriate information
* Maintain/review patient records, charts, and other pertinent information
* Perform other related duties as assigned
* Evening and weekend hours maybe required
*Qualifications:*
* Bilingualism in French is required
* Secondary language is an asset
* Post-secondary education preferred
* Minimum one year of relevant experience (Medical office diploma or experience preferred)
* Retail or customer service experience is an asset
* Exceptional client service skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
* Ability to work as part of a team under minimal supervision
