We cover accounting, finance and payroll professions. <br> <br>I am looking for a Controller for my client, a company in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent position in Saint-Hyacinthe in hybrid mode.</p><p>Reporting to the president, the position holder is responsible for setting up and then communicating the company's financial and accounting information in order to enable decision-making. <br>strategy and achieving financial results. <br> <br> Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are achieved; <br> <br> Provide advice on how to improve financial ratios; <br> <br> Participate in one-off projects to improve good business management practices; <br> <br> Collaborate with the management team; <br> <br> Optimize financial processes; <br> <br> Establish, monitor and communicate financial performance indicators; <br> <br> Effectively communicate risks in a timely manner; <br> <br> Develop financing strategies in collaboration with the various financial partners; <br> <br> Optimize the exchange rate strategy annually; <br> <br> Be on the lookout for all the grants offered and follow up on the various requests; <br> <br> Produce financial statements; <br> <br> Make end-of-month entries; <br> <br> Ensure the regularity and reliability of accounts in relation to legislation and accounting standards; <br> <br> Supervise accounting technicians in carrying out tasks related to accounts receivable and payable; <br> <br> Coordinate activities with external auditors; <br> <br> Support the president in the preparation of annual and monthly budgets; <br> <br> Monitor the budget monthly in comparison with actual figures and explain any discrepancies; <br> <br> Control company expenses; <br> <br> Supervise inventory taking and ensure proper accounting.</p><p> Bachelor of Business Administration, accounting concentration <br> Member of the Order of Chartered Professional Accountants <br> Minimum 5 years of relevant experience <br> Mastery of the office suite <br> Knowledge of QuickBooks software (an asset) <br> Knowledge of manufacturing ERP software (an asset) <br> Experience in personnel management <br> Positive leader <br> Ability to analyze and synthesize <br> Integrity <br> Computer skills <br> Ability to work in a team <br> Thoroughness <br> Sense of responsibility <br> Rigor <br> Attention to detail <br> Adaptability <br> Ability to communicate well orally and in writing <br> <br>PROCEDURE: First interview with Romane Dumaine, recruitment advisor, then with the human resources manager. <br>To apply: www.fedfinance.ca <br>To contact me: (438) 376 5485</p>
