*Job brief*
We are looking for a Financial Analyst position to support our growing team. The Financial Analyst will conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects of the company.
*Responsibilities*
* Work with project managers to create metrics and reports to better track and analyze projects? performance
* Provide analysis, summary and back up of source data to project managers
* Preparation of various funding reporting submissions
* Perform budgeting variance and forecasting analysis for various levels of management and business segmentation
* Support the monthly board reporting process
* Evaluating current capital expenditures and cash flow requirements
* Prepare profit and loss models, cash flows and other management reports to forecast financial outcomes
* Analyzing current and past financial data and performance
* Preparing reports and projections based on this analysis
* Liaising with BD Team for reporting or other needs (proposals & bid support)
* Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement
* Coordinating with other members of the finance team to review financial information
*Requirements*
* Bachelor?s Degree in a Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
* Minimum 2 to 4 years of similar finance experience
* Strong numeracy as well as written and verbal communication skills
* Attention to detail and analytical thinking
* Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint
* Advanced Accounting/ERP software experience (preferably NetSuite) with proven ability to create reports based on financial reporting needs
*Assets*
* Knowledge of NetSuite (Oracle) and QuickBooks
* Experience in SharePoint
* Pursuit of CPA designation
