Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Work setting: Construction. Repair. Various locations. Commercial. Residential. Tasks: Install electrical controls and panel boxes. Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes. Professionalism in customer service. Install underground wiring and cables. Design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations. Splice, join and connect wires. Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits. Troubleshoot and isolate faults. Install surface mount and/or overhead cables. Supervise other workers. Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs. Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Electrician Trade Certification. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Client focus. Excellent oral communication. Initiative. Judgement. Organized. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
