Location <p> Site <p> FTE <p> Assignment <p> Napanee, ON <p> Board Office 1.0 FTE <p> Permanent Full Time <p> Effective Immediately. <p> 7 hours per day, <p> 5 days per week <p> The Human Resources Coordinator, Ability and Wellness, provides coordination for the Attendance Support Programs including assisting with Disability Case Management (Occupational and Non-Occupational), Attendance Assistance and Employee Wellness across all employee groups in a multi-unionized environment. <p> Qualifications: Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources, Business Administration or Disability Management. Consideration will be given to the equivalent combination of education and experience. <p> A minimum of two years previous experience in disability management and/or human resources. <p> Experience working in the public sector is considered an asset.<p> Broad working knowledge of administrative practices and procedures in relation to Disability Management and Human Resources policies, programs and processes. Understanding of relevant employment, labour and privacy legislation. <p> Strong technology skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.<p> Experience using Parklane and Apply to Education would be considered an asset.<p> Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to enable effective communication with employees, management, unions and third parties.<p> Self-motivated, self-directed, with strong initiative and ability to work effectively both as a member of a team and independently.<p> Superior organizational, time management, problem solving, attention to detail, analytic and record keeping skills.<p> Strong customer service skills.<p> Ability to manage and safeguard confidential information.The board is seeking candidates who demonstrate the following Core Competencies:<p> Communication <p>Innovation <p>Interpersonal Relations <p>Leadership <p>Planning and Organization <p>Professional Integrity <p>System Thinking Benefits Available: <p>Competitive Benefits package including Health & Dental Benefits, Pension Plan, Employee & Family Assistance Program<p>As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must provide a Criminal Background Check (CBC) with vulnerable sector screening current within six months of date of hire.<p> At the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board, we are guided by a strong system of values that promote dignity and respect for every individual.
