Tasks: Prepare production and other reports. Supervise workers and projects. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions. Train or arrange for training. Operate CADD and other computer software systems. Set up machines and equipment. Estimate costs and materials. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Recommend personnel actions. Read blueprints and drawings. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Leading/instructing individuals. Inspect construction of building and engineering construction. Construction site supervision. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. 3-4 people. 5-10 people. Painters and decorators. Floor covering installers. Working groups. Staff in various areas of responsibility. Plasterers. Lathers. Drywall installers and finishers. Roofers. Shinglers. Gas maintenance workers. Cladders/siding installers. Eavestrough installers. Electrical appliances installers. Fence erectors. Kitchen cupboard and vanity installers. Septic systems installers. Swimming pool installers. Water heater servicers.
