Air Borealis is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Ramp Lead in Goose Bay, NL. Duties and Responsibilities: Working in the capacity of a lead hand, mentor, and guide Ramp Attendants Oversee the loading and unloading of all PAL Airlines/Air Borealis/Charter aircraft flights while on shift. Ensure appropriate equipment is available to facilitate the offload and onload of passengers and cargo. Oversee and coordinate ground operations procedures and help to review, evaluate, and implement new procedures. Completing daily inspection of all ground handling equipment and the completion of required paperwork. Marshalling aircraft in and out of the ramp area safely. Ensuring the safety of all passengers and employees on the ramp area at all times. Facilitate the scheduling process of all Ramp Attendants. Establish work priorities and delegate work to Ramp Attendants. Ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Previous experience as a ramp attendant or in a related role, with 1-2 years demonstrated leadership experience. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with team members and other departments. Strong commitment to safety and knowledge of safety regulations in the aviation industry. Valid Driver's License with a clean Driver's Abstract; Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to lift upwards to 50lbs.
