Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Air conditioned. Work setting: Department store. Supermarket/grocery store. Tasks: Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.). Provide customer service. Assist in display of merchandise. Maintain sales records for inventory control. Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease. Wrap and package prepared meats. Sell meats to customers. Remove bones from meat. Price meat products. Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products. Prepare special orders. Grind meats. Cut poultry into parts. Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat.
