JOB PURPOSE:Reporting to the Plant Maintenance Manager, the Parts Coordinator assists the Maintenance Planner with all warehouse inventory responsibilities. This includes but is not limited to, stocking of maintenance materials and supplies, inventory control and records, and related duties as required.WHY WORK AT CONESTOGA MEATS?Growing company with opportunity to grow with team and departmentStable full-time hours; no rotating shiftsEmployee referral bonus program (minimum $300 per hire)Competitive benefits package for you and your family at 3 months of servicePension plan and company matching at 1 year of serviceFloater day given on top of vacation daysDiverse workforce; translation of communication materials into 8 languagesDiscounts on quality pork productsEmployee assistance program (financial assistance, mental health resources)Social Committee events (food trucks, gifts, games)BBQ's and wellness programsOn-site training and company provided equipmentEmployee scholarship program and English courses KEY JOB FUNCTIONS / ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES:Receive parts physically and sign the pack slipsCheck if the received parts match with the PO and address any discrepanciesUpdate CMMS with the received partsInform (preferably by email and verbal communication) the requesters when receiving not stock itemsStore received parts as soon as they are entered in CMMSSegregate, disposal, and remove from CMMS obsolete partsLocate and segregate parts assigned to Work Orders as neededStage weekend work with WO and parts to be used on the appropriate cartsHelp tradesmen to locate parts in the stockrooms, mainly during breakdownsAdd new spare parts into the stockrooms as neededAudit daily the stockrooms, minimum 1 full shelf per dayCollect the sign out sheets from the stockrooms, verify the use of the part, update CMMS accordinglyEnsure the stockrooms are kept organized and cleanEnsure the store locations are labeled properly and match with the location in CMMS following the Nomenclature SOP and any governing body (BRC, SQF etc.)Work in conjunction with buyer to help determine the appropriate Min /Max levels for partsInform the buyer of parts reaching the Minimum levels for re-orderCross train as a buyer for succession planning and vacation coverage Personal DevelopmentAttend company required trainingRemain current with technical knowledge in areas of responsibilityAttend regular 1:1 coaching/update sessions QUALIFICATIONS:High school diplomaTechnical background preferably in mechanical or maintenance fieldsMust have purchasing experienceIntermediate skills in Microsoft Office programs and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Strong organizational and time management skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to work in a team-based environment3-5 years of experience working in a Maintenance environment preferred KEY COMPETENCIES:Accountability and InitiativeCommits to producing the very best output, while maintaining safety and quality.Takes ownership of your work and meet all commitments.Takes initiative and demonstrates a "do whatever it takes" work ethic to get the work done.Service ExcellenceDisplays personal ownership and a sense of urgency over any issues or complaints that arise from the customer experience, both internal and external.Communicating with ClarityVerifies the meaning of messages sent by others and confirms any next steps required.Communicates in a manner that is straightforward and easy to understand.Answers questions in a professional manner. WORKING CONDITIONS:Majority of time spent in stock rooms with occasional office environment and Kill or Cut floors as needed.
