Be part of something great and feel the impact you make on the community you live in.Reporting to the Construction Director, the Senior Project Manager provides the necessary leadership to bid, plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and control assigned projects, often with larger project budgets and complex project deliveries. Along with your project team, you will be given control of your project to deliver it on time while keeping your client engaged and informed throughout.Position BenefitsHere's why we think you'll love working at Lindsay: Flexible working hours throughout the year (early "Lindsay Fridays") Competitive salary Annual Incentive Plan Employee Health Benefits Group RRSP with 4% matching On-site gym facilities and a personal health and wellness reimbursement Frequent social and community-based events Opportunities to collaborate closely with senior personnel and other departmentsPosition ResponsibilitiesAccountabilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Work closely with our clients to ensure client satisfaction is maintained throughout the project.Collaborate with your project teams on a daily basis, focusing on executing project deliverables in a timely manner.Ensure site safety meets Lindsay Construction policy and legislated requirementsEnsure efficient operation and coordination of all aspects of assigned projects from start to finish, including cost estimate, gross profit, schedule, quality, safety, client satisfaction, and timely collection of progress billings, final payment, and holdbackProvide leadership to the project team on all aspects of the projectWork cooperatively with other departmental teams, including Proposals, Preconstruction, Estimating and Engineering and CAD.Promote Lindsay Construction to present, past, and potential future clientsJob RequirementsThe ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:8-10 years of experience running all aspects of commercial, industrial, and institutional building constructionPost secondary education in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related disciplineFamiliar with estimating, scheduling, subcontract coordination, and material procurementStrong knowledge of construction detailingExcellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks as neededExperience leading a team of professionalsAbove average organizational skills to permit effective work on several projects concurrentlyAbility to communicate in an effective way to all stakeholdersExceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills
