Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Child care centre. Tasks: Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers. Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children. Order supplies and equipment. Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records. Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits. Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods. Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children. Supervision: 5-10 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Vulnerable sector check. Personal suitability: Punctuality. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Team player. Screening questions: Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Experience: Experience an asset.- LocationMount Pearl, NL
- Salary$18.06 to $35.09HOUR hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per week
