Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications. Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment. Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal. Determine weldability of materials. Operate hoisting and lifting equipment. Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment. Type of materials: Stainless steel. Steel, iron and heavy metals. Welding techniques: MIG. Equipment and machinery experience: Gas welding machine. Area of specialization: Factory assembly. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity.
