ECS & ELEMENTARY TEACHER REQUIRED <p> for TWO HILLS MENNONITE SCHOOL <p>Two Hills Mennonite School (THMS) requires a 1.0 FTE probationary ECS and Elementary School teacher commencing the 2024-2025 school year. <p>The teaching assignment will include ECS and other subjects dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.<p>Two Hills Mennonite School, located in Two Hills, Alberta is a grade K-12 school with approximately 420 students. <p>The successful candidate will: have a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate<p> be committed to student-centered learning<p> understand and correctly use formative/summative assessment <p> practice effective differentiated learning strategies to ensure learning<p> be collaborative and committed to building relationships with students, parents, staffCross-cultural experience would be an asset as would experience or training in working with English Language Learners. THMS has a population primarily consisting of Old Colony Mennonite students with English as their second language. In doing so, St. Paul Education became the only school division in Alberta to operate both separate and public schools under one board. The Divisions religious, linguistic and cultural diversity is a source of strength and pride.<p>We serve 3,625 students (K-12), including Catholic, First Nation, Mennonite, Hutterite and Home Schooling learners. Our 19 definable school sites are staffed by approximately 240 FTE teaching staff and 345 support staff.
