Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Attend to other financial transactions, such as plane tickets and travel insurance . Calculate cost of travel and accommodations. Recommend suitable products. Supervise clerical staff or other travel counsellors. Investigate new travel areas, hotels and other amenities. Manage difficult situations with customers. Perform general office duties. Use principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, which include marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Provide customers with travel information and other details such as regulations, duty free allowances, health risks and requirements, attractions and special events. Attend to cancellations and schedule changes. Develop contact lists. Make transportation and accommodation reservations using computerized reservation and ticketing system. Provide travel information to clients regarding destinations, transportation, accommodation options and travel costs. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
