PAL Aerospace has partnered with SkyAlyne who has been named by Canada as the preferred bidder for the Future Aircrew Training ( FAcT ) Program which Is our next generation pilot and aircrew training program for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). The scope of the FAcT Program contract includes all training and in-service support requirements needed to prepare Pilots, Air Combat Systems Officers (ACSO), and Airborne Electronic Sensor Operators (AES Op) to meet the future aerospace requirements of the RCAF. In collaboration with the Government of Canada and several major Canadian subcontractors, SkyAlyne will provide live-flying, simulator and classroom-based training, facilities construction and management, information management and information technology support, site support services, aircraft maintenance and much more. https://skyalyne.ca/future-aircrew-training-canada/ We are now calling for expressions of interest in anticipation of a Contract Award in 2024. This Program will be a 20+ year contract and will be managed from the National Capital Region (Ottawa), with one of its main operational locations in Winnipeg, MB . PAL Aerospace is searching for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our Programs team preferably based in our Winnipeg office. Duties and Responsibilities: Assistance with administrative responsibilities such as team calendar and travel management, meeting/event coordination and participation, tracking departmental and project expenses, and recruitment support; Update and maintain the FAcT Joint Procedure Manual (JPM) via SharePoint; Coordinate program activities and track action items; Oversee training requirements within online training program; Oversee and maintain accurate, up to date and complete personnel records, including training and uniform requirements; Learn, interpret, and apply organizational policies, rules, and regulations; Assist in reviewing, updating and improving internal and external communications; Track and maintain a volume of documents in an organized way; and Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Graduation from a post-secondary program in administrative/business support, along with at least 5 years progressive experience in a project administrative or quality control role; Familiar with MS Office suite including MS Word and MS Excel, as well as MS SharePoint. MS Power Apps Experience/aptitude considered an asset; Experience working on a large-scale project; Familiarity with aerospace/ aviation industry; Experience of working with DND considered an asset; Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, manage competing priorities according to changing demands; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as part of a team; and Ability to develop support plan development. Security Responsibilities: Incumbent must be eligible for Government Personnel Security Clearance.
