Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates. Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements. Read blueprint, schemas and drawings. Plan and manage budgets. Oversee the analysis of data and information. Leading/instructing groups. Establish and maintain contact with suppliers. Estimate costs. Liaise with management, engineers and other trades. Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met. Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications. Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports. Computer and technology knowledge: Take-off packages. Spreadsheet. Scheduling packages. Estimating packages. Database. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Personal suitability: Analytical. Goal-oriented. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
